I suppose it was only a matter of time before something ‘girly’ came to mind with these fabrics. Might be good for a daughter or granddaughter too! I really think I’m enjoying using the pink fabrics because where I am it is mid winter and very cold and the pink feels warming to me.

I’m still enjoying working in these soft warm tones for the moment. We’ll have to wait and see what the next monthly fabric download brings from Electric Quilt! I look forward to a new palette each month, something else to play with. I was looking for something to fill the outer corners and frame the design at the same time but perhaps the squares are a little large. Still overall not bad.
It actually seems a bit too plain after some I’ve posted but sometimes the KIS principle is good, (Keep It Simple) you don’t always want or need an elaborate quilt that may not be completed in your lifetime. lol
It’s been a busy week here. Now some quilts for your enjoyment. The first two are the same with a different border. I hope I haven’t already posted these, I’m a bit out of the loop at the moment! I think I have posted them actually so have included some extras as well. Must check those files 🙂
Same quilt, different border.I’m busy at work this week. Back to usual blogging asap. It does look quite different!
I don’t think that border suits the design but overall a very classy quilt!
Still working in a soft palette, just a nice change. Sometimes I just like the soft girly look. I’m not sure if that border might be too busy.
