Spring makes me think of warmer balmy days and bright sunshine.  I can’t wait to see some more of it instead of these cool overcast/wet days.

Been thinking recently about using wreathmaker and creating different heart designs. I was happily playing around with different sizes of clusters and cluster spacing  when I suddenly had a brainwave and decided to try the swath tool as well. Something a little different. Definitely foundation pieced but that’s ok because I like foundation piecing. Not sure when I would use one though, I’m not really into St Valentine quilts.

Here’s my quilt design with two different border styles and an alternate style in version number three. You may need sunglasses for version three, funny though, the more I look at it the more I like it.

Rich and luxurious, yummy. This would look fantastic on my new bed of dark wood.

I would like to purchase more  japanese/oriental themed fabric but no, no more fabric purchases, too many projects to complete already. So many ideas, sew little time. I think you all know what I mean. I did start a Black Beauty Quilt a couple of weeks ago after all!
