I have decided to join Virtual Quilter in her Elevenses Challenge. Starting today we are all using the same eleven blocks and see what we come up with. What a great idea for a challenge and improve one’s design skills at the same time – Thanks Judy.

Not bad – certainly a busy design! Plenty more to come.

Here’s another version. For some reason I’ve designed a great many quilts in this cool colour scheme. I’m not usually a ‘blue/green’ type of person but I am liking these.

Or at least I think that’s what it’s called, maybe Grandma’s Star. I’ve drawn this up for a friend. It is one of the most challenging things I’ve ever done in EQ. Looks good though!

Oh yes very ornate this one – couldn’t decided if I liked the stars in the border floating or not.

I think this actually looks like a giant sunflower in the centre of the quilt. I started with the smaller version and decided for all the effort a larger quilt would be a better option.
