An applique design instead for a change and I wanted to try tulips. First I tried them facing in and then out. I prefer the second option with them facing out.

Quilts continuing in the series. There are quite a few designs in this file but I’ve found the more I create the more I’ve had enough of chains. 🙂 Thinking about moving on to applique and swag borders now too!

Sometimes I like to image one day I’ll find the time to make something more challenging. Do you start playing around with your EQ for other interesting ideas?

She’s only partly completed and may only ever be partly completed. She is a challenge but as I’ve said before I love a challenge. Do you recognise her as Vermeer’s Girl With A Pearl Earring? Perhaps you don’t but that’s ok, it’s just me having fun.
