My hand is still very sore and I’ve been sick all week with a virus …. aarrggh. Not very well, not very happy and not very inspired at the moment. Tonight my EQ7 won’t even perform correctly for me, my colour palate and blocks have all disappeared and I can’t find them – this has happened to me previously in EQ6 so I’m not sure what the problem is at this stage.

I hope somebody out there is healthy, happy and inspired because I’m certainly not.

Same quilt slightly different colourways.

I do like it but I would not have time to complete such an elaborate applique border design. Boredom would start kicking in after a very short time I’m sure.

Perhaps with a subtle colourway.

I think you would need to paint the leaves in the borders – it is a very popular method now I understand.

Sorry no post yesterday – I slipped going up the stairs and dislocated the fingertip on my right hand pinky finger. I spent 3 hours at the hospital.  Do you realise how hard it is to type with 2 fingers strapped together with a splint. Not happy. Finger quite sore and bruised. I have a lot of sewing and quilting to do at the moment so wish me luck.

Sometimes I like the soothing affect of stitching interesting blocks over and over until there are enough beautiful blocks completed to turn into a quilt (but thankfully not too often).
