I know the dark background was a hit with quite a few of you but I’m running with a light background today. Different colours and a pieced border treatment change the look of this quilt completely. Fresh and clean look now.

Same blocks as yesterday. The first quilt with sashing, the second without and the third with some extra brown in the corners of the blocks – which I don’t like because it makes the quilt look very crowded. What do you think?

After downloading the recent update for my anti-virus software over the week-end and installing it, things started going awry. I couldn’t find some of my files, folders or programmes. I was upset and couldn’t understand where everything had gone. I was frustrated and just haven’t touched my computer for a few days. Anyway teenage son has now changed a few settings. He also became frustrated and walked away. Today however I turned the computer on and everything is back to normal and where it should be so hip hip hooray. Big thank-yous to son when he arrives home from work this afternoon!!  Did you miss me while I was gone?

I was busy working on some of my other projects and of course Murphy’s Law, when I went to take pictures this morning the batteries are flat on my camera. I’m working on blocks for Bonnie K Hunter’s mystery quilt from last year Double Delight. I can’t seem to insert links with WordPress at the moment – you’ll have to search for it.
