Dresden Plate Quilt Block

I made this block last week for my local group to put into a charity quilt. It will be a sampler quilt. The blocks really are a mixed bag. The woman putting it together will have her work cut out for her.

This block was made using my Easy Dresden ruler by Darlene Zimmerman. I purchased it some years ago and have never used it. The whole process is  certainly speeded up and the results are quite impressive I think. This is also the first time I tried to make a transparent background. I don’t think I quite have it  yet but definitely improving.
